Solar Plexus Chakra - 'I DO'
Chakra is the Sanskrit word meaning 'wheel', 'disk', or 'vortex'. Each center corresponds to a different level of consciousness within the subtle human anatomy and is defined by specific energies linked to the potential universal energy in our being. These energy points located along the spinal column are often referred to as spinning wheels of positive energy. Ideally they should remain open and aligned for our emotional and physical well being to remain balanced and in harmony.
The solar plexus chakra, otherwise known as the manipura chakra in Sanskrit, means 'lustrous gem’ or ‘city of jewels’ and is said to be responsible for confidence, self-esteem, pleasure, will-power and personal responsibility. Its main function is to provide the momentum to move forward and realize personal desires and intentions. It is associated with the elements of fire and sun that burn the negative to manifest and sustain the positive.

Soap etiquette:
To prolong the lifespan of this handcrafted soap the use of a draining soap dish or a soap saver is recommended. Always keep it dry between uses and away from direct streams of water and daylight. The high glycerin content in handcrafted soap is wonderful for the skin but must dry between uses. Glycerin being a humectant attracts water and if left standing in it will become soft and wash away much faster. Unused soaps should be stored in a cool, dry place, preferably not the bathroom due to the high humidity but for example in a linen closet or drawer that offers a stable dry environment.
