Shipping policy

All orders are processed within 2 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email and subsequent payment. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.

Our order processing times are separate from the shipping times you will see at checkout which falls under the responsibility of the delivery company chosen. A notification will be sent to you once the items have been posted, including a tracking number for each parcel. There may be delays due to potential high volume of orders or postal service problems outside our control.

For simple flat rate shipping

We offer $16.00 flat rate Standard shipping to Canada. Shipping speed 3-9 business days.

Free shipping on orders over $85.00 (before tax, excluding wholesale) Standard shipping to Canada. Shipping speed 3-9 business days. 

Free local delivery

Free local delivery is available in Ottawa Ontario for orders over $85.00 (before tax, excluding wholesale) within a 45 km radius.

Deliveries are made from 9:00am through 6:00pm on weekdays (excluding weekends and public holidays). We will contact you via text message with the phone number you provided at checkout to notify you on the day of our arrival. You may contact us at hello@soapchestquest.ca to specify details.

Delivery service

Local delivery service in Ottawa Ontario within a 45 km radius is available at an additional cost of $10.00 for all orders, no minimum amount required. 

Free local pickup

You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at 105 Wildmeadow Circle, Ottawa (Carp), Ontario, K0A1L0 Canada. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays). We will send you an email when your order is ready for pickup, along with instructions. 

Our pickup hours are 9:00am to 6:00pm on weekdays (excluding weekends and public holidays). Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come. For inquiries please contact hello@soapchestquest.ca

International Shipping

We offer international shipping to the following country: United States America

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. 

Free shipping on orders over $85.00 (before tax, excluding wholesale) Standard International shipping to United States America. Shipping speed 4-8 business days. 

We offer $14.00 flat rate Standard International shipping to United States America for packages that weigh between 0kg-0.5kg. Shipping speed 4-8 business days.

We offer $18.00 flat rate Standard International shipping to United States America for packages that weigh between 0.5kg-1.5kg. Shipping speed 4-8 business days.

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Soap Chest Quest is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

If you haven’t received your order within 10 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at hello@soapchestquest.ca with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Shipping to P.O. boxes

Some carriers have limitations around shipping to P.O. Boxes. Private shipping companies or carriers, such as UPS and FedEx, are not able to deliver to (place mail in) a P.O. Box. Only Canada Post and the United States Postal Service® are permitted to deliver mail to (place mail in) a P.O. Box. Please take this into account when registering the delivery address details.

Refunds, returns, and exchanges

Due to the nature of our personal care goods (beauty products), returns or exchanges cannot be accepted and all sales are considered final. 

If Soap Chest Quest inadvertently made a mistake in an order, such as including the wrong product, it will be immediately corrected at our expense. To be eligible your order must be in the same condition that you received it, unused or unworn, with labels or tags, and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Please contact us at hello@soapchestquest.ca to register your claim. Items sent back to us without first filing a claim will not be accepted.

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at hello@soapchestquest.ca with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
