Refund policy

Due to the nature of our personal care goods (beauty products), returns or exchanges cannot be accepted and all sales are considered final. 

Our artisan products are entirely handmade and variations will occur in the actual scent and its intensity, color, design, shape, cut and weight. No exchanges, returns or refunds can be granted for the aforementioned reasons. 

If Soap Chest Quest inadvertently made a mistake in an order, such as including the wrong product, it will be immediately corrected at our expense. To be eligible your order must be in the same condition that you received it, unused or unworn, with labels or tags, and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Please contact us at hello@soapchestquest.ca to register your claim. Items sent back to us without first filing a claim will not be accepted.

Damages and issues

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, or if you receive the wrong item, please email us as soon as possible at hello@soapchestquest.ca with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis and will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve inspected your claim, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
