Reiki Infusion
Reiki Infusion
In addition to being a saponifier I am a certified Reiki Master and practice the form known as Usui Shiki Ryoho, named after its founder Dr. Mikao Usui. The word reiki comes from the Japanese word (rei) which means ‘universal life’ and (ki) which means ‘energy’. It is an effective form of energy work using guided life force energy to maintain a strong and free flowing ‘ki’ in order to remain in a positive state of health. Reiki is a complementary or alternative holistic health approach that does not directly cure diseases or illnesses that require treatment from a medical practitioner who should be consulted in parallel.
I have personally infused these specific bars of soap with reiki in what could be described as a shower of positive intentions. These positive intentions will be released upon use to the person who is both aware of them and accepts to receive them. If the soap is used by someone unaware, or unwilling to receive, nothing is lost as the positive intentions will simply go where they are most needed and requested in this world at the time of use. Take consciousness of the present moment and enjoy being enveloped in an overall sense of wellbeing.

Soap etiquette:
To prolong the lifespan of this handcrafted soap the use of a draining soap dish or a soap saver is recommended. Always keep it dry between uses and away from direct streams of water and daylight. The high glycerin content in handcrafted soap is wonderful for the skin but must dry between uses. Glycerin being a humectant attracts water and if left standing in it will become soft and wash away much faster. Unused soaps should be stored in a cool, dry place, preferably not the bathroom due to the high humidity but for example in a linen closet or drawer that offers a stable dry environment.
