Pine Tar

Pine tar has been shown to be anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antifungal and antipruritic. It is thought to be suitable for skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, itchy (e.g. poison ivy), dry, flaky or inflamed. The use of pine tar goes as far back as ancient Greece and was first described by Hippocrates over 2000 years ago.

Although you can smell the woodsy smokey-campfire scent of the pine tar as an ingredient, these bars are considered ‘unscented’. This means no essential oils or perfume have been added to avoid potential irritants while maintaining the full benefits of the pine tar itself.

Pine Tar soap is very soothing and can be used daily on a regular basis for best results. 

Instructions:

For external use only. If irritation occurs, discontinue use. If in doubt, first test on the inside of the elbow.

Sodium Olivate (Olive Oil*), Sodium Cocoate (Coconut Oil*), Sodium Cocoa Butterate (Cocoa Butter*), Sodium Castorate (Castor Oil*), Pinus Palustris (Pine) Wood Tar, Glycerin, Aqua (Water), Sodium Lactate
