This is a 100% natural option to containing body odor and stepping away from conventional deodorants that contain aluminum and numerous other additives. A handmade gentle formula that works well in helping absorb wetness to effectively fight odor-causing bacteria. It allows your skin to breath while expelling toxins. This product is a deodorizing deodorant (not an antiperspirant).
There is an adjustment period for those switching to a natural deodorant for the first time. An armpit detox will speed up this process for a successful transition to a natural deodorant. It might equally release chemicals out of the skin tissue of the armpits after years of conventional deodorant use. Below is a simple recipe for detoxifying your pits that can be done daily over a period of 10-14 days, or as needed:
Armpit detox ingredients:
Ø 1 TBSP Bentonite clay
Ø 1 tsp Apple cider vinegar
Ø 1-2 tsp Water
Armpit detox directions:
1. Mix all ingredients together in a glass bowl (not metal) with a wooden or non-metal spoon.
2. Spread evenly over the armpits and allow to sit for 5-20 minutes. Start slowly over shorter periods of time, working up to longer periods to allow your body to adjust. Remove immediately in case of reaction.
3. It will increase blood flow to the area and may cause redness which will disappear quickly.
4. Wash off with a wet washcloth or in the shower.
5. Repeat daily or as needed until underarm odor goes away and natural deodorant is non-irritating.
Instructions:
