Facial Soap - Normal/Combination Skin
A gentle soap that has been infused with dried chamomile flowers over several hours, including ingredients such as colloidal oatmeal and bentonite clay. Sensitive skin types benefit the most from chamomile which is so gentle it can be used daily, is hydrating and soothing on the skin and promotes calm feelings. Oatmeal retains moisture, has anti-inflammatory properties and acts as a very mild exfoliating agent. Bentonite clay is created from volcanic ash and gives this product a nice slip in addition to containing oil absorption properties. Perfect as a facial bar to be used daily for those with normal or combination skin. Can also be used on the body for babies or those that are looking for a gentle yet effective unscented bar. This soap will disperse in bathwater or take the form of thin lather with the tiniest of bubbles comparable to a liquid lotion when applied directly to wet skin, leaving it hydrated, gently exfoliated and smooth.

Soap etiquette:
To prolong the lifespan of this handcrafted soap the use of a draining soap dish or a soap saver is recommended. Always keep it dry between uses and away from direct streams of water and daylight. The high glycerin content in handcrafted soap is wonderful for the skin but must dry between uses. Glycerin being a humectant attracts water and if left standing in it will become soft and wash away much faster. Unused soaps should be stored in a cool, dry place, preferably not the bathroom due to the high humidity but for example in a linen closet or drawer that offers a stable dry environment.
